Vic: Fires threaten homes in Victoria's north-east
MELBOURNE, Jan 20 AAP - More than 20 properties in Victoria's north-east were threatenedby a bushfire that had broken through control lines, the Country Fire Authority (CFA)said today.
Residents of two properties in the Nariel Valley, near Benambra, had been urged toeither seriously consider leaving their homes or to implement their bushfire action plans,the CFA said in a statement.
Other residents in Nariel Valley were being advised to implement their action plans.
