First Great Western is giving schoolchildren in Bristol a chanceto name its new state-of-the-art simulator.
The train company is inviting Year five and six pupils to enterthe competition to come up with the best name for the simulator - alife-sized replica of a First Great Western High Speed Train (HST)driver's cab.
The simulator has recently been installed at the company's Bristoltraining site to underpin its existing methods of driver training.
The winning class will have the distinction of officially namingthe simulator, with the name engraved onto a plaque and put on theside of it. The prize also includes a contribution by First GreatWestern to equipment for the school and a plaque for the school.
The winning name will be selected during the last week of Octoberfollowed by the official launch of the simulator, which will takeplace in November when the winning name will be officially unveiled.
Entries must be received by October 29.
