NSW: Police find body of missing north coast man
The body of an ill man missing from his north coast home since Tuesday has been discoveredin a dam.
A police spokesman says the body of Laurieton man WAYNE JUNG was discovered yesterdayin a dam near Port Macquarie.
The 43-year-old was last seen alive leaving his home at 2.00pm (AEST) on Tuesday, aftertelling his family he intended to cycle 400 kilometres north to Ballina.
However, his bike and belongings were found 24 hours later at a rest area on the PacificHighway at Herons Creek, about 10 kilometres north of Laurieton.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report outlining thecircumstances surrounding the death will be prepared for the coroner.
